The ‘General’ as he is affectionately known to many by his fellow peers has been a football administrator for over 40 years and chaired several committees. Sarikakis has also coached the Hurstville City Minotaurs for almost 25 years from Under 6’s to the senior squad. Football NSW honoured Sarikakis in 2009 when he recieved the Charles Valentine Medal for his fantastic services for football in NSW. Football NSW wishes to congratulate Peter Sarikakis on receiving this prominent award.
