Hello to all the Minotaur Family!!!
On behalf of the President, Executive Committee and all the Sponsors I would like to welcome you to Season 2010 MINOTAUR STYLE!
Firstly let me tell you that our 1st grade squad is looking very strong and anything less than winning the premiership and promotion to 1st DIVISION is unacceptable.
We have kept all our stars from last year and have acquired some BIG names to boost our chances for this year. Just some new names that come to mind are: Graeme Shannon, George Zabetakis, Manny Papageorgiou, Angelo Vagenas, Nambu Ryuta, Masaki Nishijo, Chris Moffit, Sasho Stevoski and others. Add to these the likes of Michael Di Meglio, Nick Mertzanakis, Stefano Marconi, Terry Sideratos, Nelson Grilo, Nick Kambounias, Nick Andreou, the evergreen Spiros Kladis and the best keepers in the comp Josh Da Palma and Shawn Malkic and you come up with a winning formula.
And remember these lads have Belmore Sports Ground as their home ground.
As well, our youth teams have now been finalized with all the squads looking ready to compete and prove themselves. Our coaches: Foti (13), Rob (14), Angelo (15), the master Georgara (16) and the Nicks (18) have a point to prove and they are ready for the challenge....
Big Question: After a couple of ordinary seasons for our u/18 could this year be their season to stand up and be counted?
Personally I think they look AWESOME.
While on the subject of Youth squads, let me tell you that we have ordered from Italy (Errea) the best possible material for their new jerseys worn only by professionals in Europe. (Oh! What A Beauty!)
Now we are looking for "Naming Right Sponsors" for these Elite Jerseys (Pls see the General).
